Over the years, I’ve accrued and built a number of useful PPC tools – from revenue projection forecast tools to margin calculators. Most of these lived deep in Google Sheets or Excel. Recently, I finally found the time to collate these tools and code them up into online versions – so that others can use them in their work.

PPC Percentage Calculator Tool

Probably one of the most used tools as a PPC professional. We’ve all been there, even though we all have a calculator in front of us and a brain that can do maths – we still use an online percentage calculator. Some of us might have our favourite ones, most of us will simply search Google and hit the first one – usually full of ads, popups and distractions.

If you find yourself needing to calculate the percentage uplift from 20 to 22, or struggling to do the maths in your head for a CTR% uplift then my PPC percentage calculator is fast, free, ad and distraction free, and also covers reverse percentage calculations.

Margin-Aware ROAS Calculator

A 4x ROAS might sound great until you realise your client’s margin is only 20% – meaning your break-even ROAS is actually 5x. This is the thing many PPC marketers get wrong, and often end up losing their clients money.

Fix that by using the margin ROAS calculator, insert your product or service margin, the target margin you want to achieve, the current ad spend and revenue generated to discover if you are actually making a return on your ad spend.

The margin aware ROAS tool allows you to see if you are breaking even - and the target ROAS you need to turn a profit for your PPC

PPC Budget Pacing Calculator

This was one of the first ever tools I learned to build in Excel, and I think where most PPC marketers start out. A simple, yet effective way to understand how your spend is doing against planned budgets. Simply enter your budget, the days in the current month, days passed and your current spend to get budget run rates, and projected spend.

Tools like this have saved me multiple times when it comes to managing multiple client budgets. These days I use a live version that runs from the Google Ads API in a custom application – but this tool is just as good to work out any budget pacing.

The Budget pacing tool helps you manage your monthly PPC or lifetime budget pacing across the month.

PPC A/B Significance Calculator

One thing that many marketers get wrong when testing is assuming that a variation is the winner without testing for significance. In a simple A/B split on a landing page, adcopy or setup – you can often be falsely drawn into higher metrics.

Use this PPC A/B Significance calculator to work out which variation is winning with statistical significance rather than random vibes. Simply enter your impressions and conversions for each variation to work out the statistical significance confidence score, relative uplift, and Z-score.

The A/B Significance tool lets you see whether your ad/landing page or copy variations are winning with statistical confidence.

PPC Scenario Comparison Calculator

It can be difficult to project different scenarios in PPC, what happens if we doubled conversion rates? what if we increased CTR% by 1% while everything remained the same?

This PPC Scenario Comparison tool allows you to compare three unique scenarios with your metrics and see different outcomes. For instance, keeping everything the same, but improving conversion rate %, or what would happen if impression levels increased to clicks.

The PPC scenario comparison calculator shows you three separate scenarios where you can adjust metrics to see outcomes.

PPC Funnel Metrics Calculator

Change one metric to see how it would affect your entire funnel metrics. For instance what would happen to conversions if CTR% was to change, or what would happen to click volumes if spend was to decrease. I’ve added in benchmarks for each ad platform, allowing you to use the funnel metric calculator tool for Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok or LinkedIn ads.

The PPC funnel metrics calculator lets you change single metrics to see the impact on other metrics across the full funnel. With benchmarks for ad platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, TikTok and Linkedin ads.

The Fun Stuff

The Random Digital Marketing Job Title Generator

On my previous version of my site I had a rather popular tool: The Random Digital Marketing Job Generator. This was built many years ago in jest to the current state of digital marketing jobs. You know, the job ads for “SEO Ninjas”, “PPC Activation Gurus” etc.

In rather ridiculous fashion, I created a random job title generator that was a bit of fun – it was one of my biggest traffic drivers. I’ve brought it back, updated and in full 2026 style. Go on, have a bit of fun – you might even find yourself in a new career with a job title of “Senior VP GEO Wizard”.

The random job title generator is a bit of fun - find yourself a new job title, and share it on linkedin. Will you be a Master GEO Executive, or a Senior VP Paid Search Wizard?
